The Social Worker provides group and family therapeutic interventions, advocates for patients with the Local Mental Health Authority, and coordinates all aspects of discharge. In addition, the Social Worker stays updated with relevant legal issues related to patient care and ensures effective communication between the recovery team and families, guardians, and community providers.
