The Peer Support Specialist at the NeuroBehavioral Hospital works closely with patients and staff to facilitate a therapeutic environment within the facility. They conduct patient education groups, participate in treatment team meetings, and conduct patient satisfaction interviews. Additionally, the Peer Support Specialist assists in de-escalation techniques, patient rights education, and adheres to all facility regulations regarding patient confidentiality.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Under the supervision of the RN(s), directs and guides patient teaching and activities that commensurate with his/her education and demonstrated competencies.

They coordinate discharge planning and advocate for patients with community stakeholders while staying current with legal issues related to patient care. Additionally, they maintain effective communication between the recovery team, families, guardians, and community providers.
As a Recreation Therapist at the NeuroBehavioralHospital, you will develop, organize, and implement therapeutic recreation groups and activities that address the needs of patients. Your primary goal will be to restore and maintainoptimal levels of physical and psychosocial functioning in patients. Additionally, you will actively participate in treatment planning and implement activity services for the inpatient population, defining and implementing treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.
