Assists in Policy Development & Implementation
Contributes to the creation and enforcement of policies, procedures, and regulations for the custody, security, and treatment of individuals served.
Conducts Shift Briefings & Assignments
Leads shift briefings, ensures clear communication regarding individual status, policies, and employee responsibilities, and manages employee attendance and appearance.
Responds to Unusual Occurrences
Provides immediate assistance in cases of injury, illness, or emotional trauma and ensures proper responses to unusual incidents.
Monitors Employee-Individual Interactions
Observes and evaluates employee interactions with individuals served, intervening to diffuse critical situations and maintain safety.
Directs and Evaluates Employee Performance
Oversees staff operations, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and handling disciplinary actions when necessary.
