Operations Counsel – Legal Partner to Healthcare Growth and Compliance

As Operations Counsel, you’ll serve as a trusted legal advisor at the heart of a growing healthcare organization—guiding day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth initiatives. Reporting to General Counsel, you’ll deliver practical, solutions-oriented legal support across a broad range of healthcare operational matters.

This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare-savvy attorney who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and is passionate about making a tangible impact through smart, ethical legal guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Legal and Regulatory Guidance – Advise on healthcare laws and regulations impacting all aspects of operations, ensuring compliant and informed decision-making.

  • Draft, Negotiate, and Review Key Contracts – Manage agreements across physician groups, payors, vendors, IT, joint ventures, and purchasing to align with company objectives.

  • Mitigate Legal and Regulatory Risk – Partner with stakeholders to identify risks and deliver practical, compliant, and strategic legal solutions.

  • Ensure Contractual and Strategic Alignment – Collaborate across departments to ensure vendor and provider agreements support the company’s goals and comply with legal and ethical standards.

  • Develop Policies and Best Practices – Contribute to policy development and implementation while building scalable legal processes and promoting continuous improvement.

  • Required: Experience advising healthcare providers on operations and regulatory matters.
