How you make a difference

Procurement Specialist – Powering Smart Purchasing and Strategic Partnerships

As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving efficient, cost-effective sourcing solutions that support vital functions across Operations, Clinical Administration, and IT. You’ll go beyond purchasing—implementing strategic sourcing strategies that reduce costs, elevate service quality, and strengthen vendor performance.

In this highly collaborative role, you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to align procurement activities with organizational goals. If you’re detail-oriented, results-driven, and passionate about turning purchasing into a strategic advantage, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Negotiations and RFI/RFP Processes – Manage vendor contracts and renewals to optimize enterprise-wide purchasing power.

  • Monitor and Report Procurement Savings – Track planned vs. actual savings and integrate outcomes into corporate budgets to demonstrate financial impact.

  • Strengthen Vendor Relationships and Ensure Compliance – Maintain strategic vendor partnerships while driving compliance with national agreements.

  • Manage Formulary and Catalog Standards – Oversee product and service listings to align purchasing with organizational goals and cost controls.

  • Support Sourcing Strategy Through Cross-Functional Collaboration – Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies that enhance efficiency and value.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.

Experience:

  • Required: 2+ years’ experience in procurement, multi-site experience preferred.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret spend and cost data, research market trends, identify best practices, and manage supporting contract development activities.
  • Preferred: Experience running multiple RFP’s and/or savings projects simultaneously with the ability to prioritize meeting deadlines with having a strong attention to detail.
  • Preferred: Healthcare procurement experience.
