How you make a difference

Procurement Manager – Driving Strategic Sourcing and Operational Excellence

 

As a Procurement Manager, you’ll be a vital part of a high-impact team responsible for delivering smart, cost-effective sourcing solutions that support the organization’s mission and growth. In this dynamic role, you’ll lead both strategic sourcing and tactical purchasing activities across key functions—including Operations, Clinical Administration, and IT.

 

You’ll leverage sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, strengthen vendor relationships, and improve service levels, while partnering closely with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations. If you're a collaborative problem-solver with a passion for optimizing procurement processes and adding value across the enterprise, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Contract Negotiations and Renewals – Manage the RFI/RFP process and contract lifecycle to maximize enterprise-wide purchasing power.

  • Drive Strategic Vendor Relationships – Own vendor partnerships, ensuring continuous savings, performance, and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Monitor and Report Savings Impact – Track planned vs. achieved savings and embed results into corporate budgets to measure procurement effectiveness.

  • Develop and Execute Sourcing Strategies – Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement sourcing strategies that support cost, quality, and service objectives.

  • Champion Procurement Strategy and Compliance – Drive contract and vendor compliance while contributing to the development of enterprise procurement strategies.



Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.

Experience:

  • Required: Five (5) years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field with preferred multi-site experience.
  • Required: Successful track record in a procurement management role. 
  • Required: Experience running multiple RFP’s and/or savings projects simultaneously with the ability to prioritize meeting deadlines with having a strong attention to detail.
  • Required: Ability to flex between different categories of spend including: Medical Supplies, Pharmacy, Laboratory Services, IT, Staffing, etc.
  • Preferred: Healthcare industry experience.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Preferred: Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM).
