How you make a difference

Credentialing Manager – Ensuring Compliance, Streamlining Provider Success

 

Are you a detail-driven leader who thrives on managing critical healthcare credentials? As the Credentialing Manager, you’ll oversee the end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing process for all mid-level and senior providers, ensuring they are fully licensed, certified, and compliant to deliver top-quality care.

 

In this role, you’ll manage state licensure applications, DEA registrations, and certification renewals, keeping providers practice-ready while ensuring strict regulatory compliance. You’ll also implement process improvements to streamline approvals, reduce delays, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages Provider Credentialing & Compliance: Oversees the credentialing and re-credentialing process, ensuring timely completion, compliance with regulatory requirements, and investigation of discrepancies.
  • Maintains Credentialing Records & Database: Organizes and updates credentialing files while monitoring provider document expirations and generating monthly reports for all facilities.
  • Ensures Regulatory & Licensure Compliance: Maintains compliance with state medical boards, DEA, and other regulatory agencies, overseeing licensure requirements for provider onboarding and market expansions.
  • Streamlines Credentialing Processes: Leads initiatives to automate workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce approval times for provider licensure and credentialing.
  • Conducts Audits & Investigations: Performs credentialing file audits, identifies adverse findings, and provides recommendations to ensure informed decision-making by review bodies.

 



Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience:

  • Required: Three (3) years’ experience in provider credentialing, licensing or medical staff services.
  • Required: Proficient in Microsoft office.
  • Preferred: Supervisory experience.
