The Facility Maintenance Director plays a key role in keeping our facility running smoothly and safely. You'll oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring that our buildings, grounds, and equipment are always in top shape and in compliance with safety and sanitation standards. From strategic planning to managing budgets and leading a dynamic team, you’ll be at the forefront of preventive maintenance and responding to emergencies. You’ll also work closely with vendors to ensure the best service. Your expertise will ensure the facility is always ready, safe, and efficient for everyone!
Develop and Implement Maintenance Strategies: Develop proactive maintenance strategies and programs to ensure smooth operations and prevent equipment failure.
Evaluate and Prioritize Maintenance Requests: Evaluate maintenance request forms, prioritize tasks, allocate departmental work assignments, and monitor maintenance staff operations.
Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Address corporate and regulatory compliance issues set by accrediting bodies, and local, state, and federal regulations to maintain a safe environment.
Maintain Records and Supply Management: Maintain maintenance records and purchase necessary supplies from approved sources, ensuring all equipment is properly stocked and functioning.
Training and Life Safety Protocols: Conduct training on life safety protocols and perform routine inspections of critical systems like HVAC, emergency, and disaster systems.
