How you make a difference

Director of Behavioral Treatment – Leading Compassionate Care & Specialized Treatment

 

Are you a visionary leader passionate about transforming behavioral health? As the Director of Behavioral Treatment, you’ll take charge of creating, implementing, and overseeing specialized treatment plans that ensure the best care for individuals served.

 

In this critical role, you’ll define and refine the referral and consultation process, utilizing data to continuously improve care delivery and contribute to facility-wide performance initiatives. You’ll also facilitate specialized treatment when needed, ensuring that individuals served receive targeted, high-quality care tailored to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Oversight & Specialized Treatment Plans: Develops and oversees clinical criteria for the placement, continuation, and discontinuation of specialized treatment plans.
  • Training & Supervision: Provides training, consultation, and supervision of staff to ensure effective implementation of specialized treatment plans.
  • Behavioral Data Analysis: Analyzes behavioral data and adjusts treatment plans as needed to improve outcomes.
  • Referral & Consultation Process: Defines a referral and consultation process for individuals who may benefit from specialized treatment plans, ensuring timely access to appropriate care.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintains accurate and timely documentation in the medical record, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.



Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Required: Master’s degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Required: Expertise in behavior planning.
  • Required: Experience and knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care.
  • Preferred: Supervisory experience.

Licenses:

  • Required: Independently licensed Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, Psychologist or Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
