Make a Meaningful Impact as a Therapeutic Safety Technician (TST)!
Join an interdisciplinary clinical team where you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate care to individuals served. As a Therapeutic Safety Technician, you’ll support clinical and medical staff in providing tailored treatment, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Your dedication to a person-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused approach will empower individuals to thrive, both within the facility and during community visits. Patient Safety and Engagement
Performs a wide range of patient safety assignments throughout the facility and actively engages with individuals served to monitor their environment and well-being.
Collaborates on Therapeutic Reviews
Attends and contributes to therapeutic reviews by providing input into the goals and objectives developed with the individual served.
Crisis Intervention and Safety Planning
Works with the treatment team to create and implement individual crisis intervention plans and safety plans to ensure the well-being of individuals served.
De-escalation and Redirection
Observes individuals served and provides de-escalation and redirection as needed, working in a trauma-informed model where patients are verbally guided and informed of changes.
Environmental Monitoring and Emergency Response
Monitors and tracks environmental concerns through equipment, systems, and physical inspections, and provides emergency responses to address safety issues, including calming disruptive or violent behaviors.
