The Activity Director is the heart of an engaging and enriching environment, leading the charge in overseeing daily activities for activity therapy and related departments. You’ll guide and inspire a talented team, ensuring top-notch care and adherence to policies, protocols, and facility standards. With your leadership, the department will run smoothly, creating a positive impact for all involved. Supervise Assigned Employees: Manage and oversee the performance of assigned employees, ensuring that tasks are completed effectively and in alignment with company goals.
Hiring, Training, and Evaluating Employees: Handle the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of employees to ensure a skilled and efficient team.
Coordinate Activities for Individuals Served: Organize and coordinate the daily activities of individuals served, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and support.
Develop Daily and Weekly Schedules: Create and implement schedules for employees and individuals served, ensuring that all activities are planned and executed in a timely manner.
Ensure Compliance with Policies: Ensure adherence to company and facility policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
