In this dynamic position, you’ll oversee security functions across all areas—including the outer perimeter and internal spaces—while providing vigilant supervision and accountability. You’ll also handle the secure transportation of individuals to off-site appointments such as medical consultations, specialized treatments, evaluations, and court appearances.

If you have a strong commitment to safety, compassion, and professionalism, and thrive in environments where every action helps support recovery and care, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by proactively monitoring facility grounds, detecting security risks, preventing elopements, and ensuring the safety of individuals served, staff, and visitors.
  • Monitor and control communication, surveillance, and emergency systems to maintain a safe and secure environment for individuals served, visitors, and employees.
  • Respond to emergency situations by de-escalating aggressive behaviors, assisting clinical staff, and using established aggression control techniques.
  • Conduct thorough security screenings and searches of individuals served, visitors, personal belongings, vehicles, and facility areas to prevent the introduction of contraband and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Safely operate facility vehicles to transport individuals served off-site, adhering to security protocols, risk management procedures, and patient confidentiality standards.
