How you make a difference

The Performance Improvement (PI) Administrator is responsible for management and administration of the PI program in the facility.  The PI Administrator oversees all activities and has overall responsibilities to provide education and technical assistance to facility leaders for the successful implementation of the program and its initiatives throughout the facility and its multiple departments. The PI Administrator ensures processes and systems to deliver safe and quality care to the Individuals Served as well as services that comply with licensing and regulatory standards by coordinating timely collection, analyzing, tracking and trending of data, and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Directs facility-wide performance improvement activities to achieve best practice patient care and safety outcomes.
  • Provides training and support for data collection, analysis, and performance assessment to departments, committees, PI teams, and leadership.
  • Monitors indicator reports for significant trends, reporting them to executive management and ensuring timely action.
  • Coordinates strategic planning efforts, policy and procedure development, and internal facility self-assessments and audits.
  • Facilitates staff training on PI methods, tools, and approaches, and oversees satisfaction surveys for individuals served, staff, and stakeholders, ensuring results are analyzed and reported for follow-up.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in human services, health care field or related discipline. 
  • Preferred: Master’s degree.

Experience

  • Required: Three (3) years of experience in performance improvement, quality assurance, or contract management.
  • Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.                         
  • Preferred: Previous experience in a hospital environment.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Required: Any client-mandated certifications and/or training.
  • Preferred: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Six Sigma or other quality professional certification. 

Compliance

  • Must adhere to compliance requirements from company, client agency, and accreditation bodies.
