The Human Resource Generalist is a vital partner in cultivating a thriving workplace culture while ensuring HR operations seamlessly align with organizational goals. Working hand-in-hand with the corporate HR team and site leadership, this role supports the success of the site and its workforce. With strong communication, organizational expertise, and sharp problem-solving skills, the HR Generalist thrives on handling diverse responsibilities, maintaining confidentiality, and driving impactful results. Employee Relations and Development: Bridge management and employee relations by addressing grievances, coaching, and resolving performance and employee issues to foster a positive work environment.
Compliance and Policy Oversight: Ensure adherence to employment legislation and company policies, managing processes like pre-boarding documentation and background checks for new hires.
Training Coordination: Oversee training activities, ensuring records are maintained, opportunities are communicated, and new employee orientation tasks are completed within required timelines.
Recruitment and Staffing: Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruiting efforts, coordinate and schedule new hires for new employee orientation, coordinate hiring events, and manage the staffing matrix/position control, and open requisitions.
Employee Retention and Recognition: Drive retention efforts by planning and coordinating employee recognition events, such as monthly awards, holiday parties, and celebrations.
