Lead with Purpose: Become Our Unit Director!

 

As the Unit Director, you will take charge of the 24/7 operation of our housing units, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. From housing assignments and property distribution to maintaining room decorum and enforcing unit rules, your leadership will create a safe and supportive environment. You'll oversee quiet and comfort room protocols, manage medication and medical needs, ensure accurate medical record documentation, and respond to emergencies with confidence. Additionally, you'll monitor at-risk individuals served while implementing policies, standards, and procedures to facilitate top-tier clinical care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees Unit Operations
    Manages housing assignments, property distribution, unit rules, and room decorum to ensure smooth operations.

  • Ensures Regulatory and Documentation Compliance
    Monitors medical records, emergency response, and at-risk procedures to meet regulatory, contractual, and accreditation standards.

  • Coordinates Multi-Disciplinary Functions
    Leads treatment team meetings, unit activities, and employee duties to promote collaboration and effective service delivery.

  • Monitors and Enforces Safety Protocols
    Adheres to and enforces safety/security policies, participates in safety drills, and ensures compliance with protocols.

  • Leads Performance Improvement and Reporting
    Submits performance improvement (PI) and other required reports within designated time frames and supports continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, mental health counseling, nursing or a related field.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, mental health counseling, nursing or a related field.

Experience:

  • Required: Experience with relevant population.
  • Required: Supervisory experience.

Licenses:

  • Preferred: Licensed in appropriate discipline.
