Be the Heart of Compassionate Care as a Client Care Assistant (CCA)!

 

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? As a Client Care Assistant (CCA), you'll be a vital part of the team providing hands-on support and unlicensed nursing care to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Working under the guidance of licensed nursing professionals and leadership, you'll help create a safe and supportive environment focused on healing and growth.

 

From medical stabilization and crisis intervention to promoting dignity through self-care and structured activities, your role is essential in empowering individuals on their journey to recovery. This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to bring hope, compassion, and stability to those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ongoing Assessments and Crisis Intervention
    Continuously evaluate the needs of individuals served, ensuring medical stabilization and addressing crises as necessary.

  • Support and Structured Activities
    Provide structured activities and necessary support to promote the well-being of individuals served.

  • Accurate Documentation and Reporting
    Maintain detailed and timely documentation of daily care, report changes to the licensed nurse, and assist with assigned nursing-related tasks.

  • Collaboration and Communication
    Communicate regularly with supervisors and the multidisciplinary team to discuss medical care, behavioral stabilization, and updates on individuals served.

  • Safety and Environmental Maintenance
    Promote a safe, clean, and healthy environment for individuals served while maintaining physical readiness and flexibility for various job conditions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.  
  • Preferred: Graduate of a nursing assistant or medical assistant school, or certification as a nursing assistant or medical assistant in state of employment.

Experience:

  • Preferred: One (1) year of qualifying relevant experience.

Certifications:

  • Preferred: CNA, CMA, or any health care certification.
