Lead the Charge in Quality Care as a Nursing Supervisor!
Are you a dynamic nursing professional with a passion for leadership and excellence? As a Nursing Supervisor you’ll take charge of coordinating and delegating professional nursing care across the facility during your assigned shift, ensuring that all clinical operations meet the highest standards of quality care and customer service.
You’ll oversee the delivery of nursing care, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, and work to continuously maintain and improve those standards. By promoting staff education, performance improvement, and safety management, you’ll contribute to a positive and effective care environment. Your role will also involve fostering strong communication with senior management, physicians, and staff, ensuring seamless collaboration and exceptional care delivery.
Leadership and Communication
Demonstrate leadership by effectively communicating, solving problems, building teams, and promoting a culture of patient safety in a non-punitive environment. Report medical errors and significant events.
Supervisory Oversight
Provide supervisory oversight by monitoring staff performance and conduct, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and dress codes during assigned shifts.
Staffing and Patient Care
Assess staffing on assigned shifts to verify appropriate staffing levels and intervene as needed to maintain the proper staff-to-patient ratio, considering patient care needs.
Overtime and Shift Management
Monitor and control overtime during shifts to manage costs and ensure efficient staffing.
Training and Staff Development
Provide training, guidance, coaching, and counseling to staff as needed to improve performance and ensure the delivery of quality care during shifts.
