Compensation Range

$147,915.66 - $180,785.7 / year

How you make a difference

The Clinical Director has responsibility for the supervision of the psychologists, social workers, recreation therapist, competency intervention specialists and oversight of the AES assessments and treatment program.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and clinical leadership for Psychology and Social Work staff, offering individual and group supervision, teaching, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Oversee and clinically supervise all evaluation and treatment activities, monitoring program components to maintain high-quality standards and providing support to staff.
  • Assign and supervise triage evaluations and psychological testing, acting as the primary representative to the courts and offering consultation on forensic issues to both staff and students.
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality treatment, psychological and social work assessments, behavioral plans, and other clinical services, maintaining responsibility for both process and service quality.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural diversity issues, treating individuals served as unique and considering their cultural background in care and treatment, while also addressing the age-specific needs of residents through individualized and developmentally appropriate care.



Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in a psychology.

Experience

  • 3 years of experience in a mental health setting.
  • 3 years at a senior to mid-level supervisory experience.
  • Preferred completion of supervisory classes required by state of CA Psychology Board.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Licensed as a psychologist in the state where services are provided.
